I love the word “create” - it’s so powerful, isn’t it?
Create brilliant brands, compelling visuals, powerful proposals, performance-driven marketing strategies. My passion is tackling issues and creating solutions to improve communication, reach, and engagement.
Art can be anything. But design always has a purpose. A good designer is successful in how well they communicate and compel the viewer with their design.
Design tells a story and accomplishes goals. It entertains and informs and drives action, whether it’s print, editorial, web design, email, UI/UX, video, interactive, branding, advertising and campaigns, event or trade show design.
Here’s the short of it - I was born in Las Vegas, moved away, and have been living here again since 2010. Needless to say Las Vegas is home!
From our vibrant downtown, to our delicious restaurants in Chinatown, to our arts scenes like the local theater or the Smith Center - there’s so much to enjoy! I love helping locals and the community thrive, so if you have an opportunity that’s local, you already have my heart.
We live in a modern age where B2B and B2C marketing can speak to individuals based on exactly who they are, what they’re interested in, and when they’re ready to buy. Digital marketing, email marketing, and paid search tactics can drive ROI like never before, with tracking and reporting that show success based on your KPI and allow for continual optimization of results. The days of broadly spamming customers is gone - any ad you see that was not targeted directly to your interests or needs was a waste of someone’s money.
What drives people to excel at their work? What causes employee loyalty and builds a bond within a company or team? How can teams work together more effectively? What sparks individuals to speak up and voice their opinions or suggestions at innovating products and processes, leading to better service and solutions? These are areas that I focus on - how to drive people around me to be their best. Sometimes this means compassionate and effective leadership, sometimes this means unconventional teamwork, sometimes it means taking chances on people and pushing them to thrive.
My attention, insight, and love of people is what makes me a good leader. Because I can put people into positions that they need and want to be in, and that which will make the company grow. Because I love my coworkers, I make the workplace a place where everyone wants to be, and where everyone feels they can be their best.
You know get-it-doners - you may be one yourself. There’s a time to talk and hope and dream and plan! But at the end of the day, I’m your get-it-doner. I will pull that hefty project through the finish line, come hell or high waters. When I believe in something, I personally invest myself to make it succeed. If you know me, you know how obsessive I can be to see things through and make them successful, despite the odds.
I know the world doesn't always work the way it should, and companies don't always work the way they should, so instead of complaining about it, I find a solution. Adapting and flexibility are critical in our world.
“I can do that” - the phrase that has cost me so much time in research, trial, error - as well as success. Because of it, I’ve become a designer, a creative manager, a director of marketing and communications, a project manager, a product manager, and so much more.
